Where does the body begin,
where does the house begin?
Perhaps the most intimate trait of a project lies in what it harbours without announcing: the time of pause, the small gesture, the ebb and flow between rooms, the exact distance between touch and support. When we think of space as an extension of the body, we are not just seeking ergonomics as a response, but presence as a premise.
Design is also about translating the invisible. It is about turning the everyday gesture into permanence and allowing space, in its silent materiality, to be a continuation of the body, rather than its limit.
You can already perceive how each proportion fits into the routine, how the height of a backrest, the presence of a sofa arm, or the opening of a door influence the rhythm of the days. It is the experience of testing, in thought and touch, how the house will respond to the body and the gaze.
The result is a space that moves with those who inhabit it. It is not just about aesthetics or function, but about creating places that accompany changes, hold stories, and quietly welcome.
This is how the initial listening transforms into concrete presence, allowing the everyday to find beauty and meaning in the simple act of living.
