With the aim of adapting the apartment to the routine of the residents, the original layout — previously with three bedrooms — was reconfigured to accommodate two suites with closets and a powder room.
The social area has been expanded and integrated, enhancing social interaction and accommodating a selection of furniture already owned by the clients, combined with new pieces curated for the space.
Woodwork played a central role in the organization of the environment: it meets storage needs, conceals access points, and reinforces the visual unity of the project. Neutral tones were chosen for both the furniture and fixed finishes, in order to highlight the artworks and the personal collection of the clients.
The kitchen and laundry were preserved in their original configuration.
The concept of Residência Pedroso was guided by the clients' desire to explore different materialities and compositions. The proposal stems from the combination of distinct textures in the walls and furnishings, as well as recurring details that build the project's visual identity.
In the social area, the focal point is the shelf developed especially for the apartment. With a modular system based on a predefined grid, the piece allows for different configurations and more relaxed compositions — aligned with the residents' way of using the space.
The layout reinforces this free rhythm and follows the dynamics of daily life, promoting fluidity between the environments and comfort in usage transitions.
