The Canguro (kangaroo, in Italian) was developed as a proposal for Caimi, a company specialising in acoustic furniture and objects. Starting from the brand's brief — to create a piece of furniture for personal use, adapted to the home working environment — the project also set out to solve a daily issue: how to store, in a simple and accessible way, the items we carry when leaving and returning home.

The result is an acoustic wall panel with cut-out, blended pockets that reveal themselves as they store everyday objects. The drop-down desk allows for the functional and organised use of the workspace, maintaining visual lightness. Both the pockets and the internal compartments are lined with acoustic fabrics from the palette offered by Caimi's catalogue. Discreet and versatile, the Canguro takes shape and presence as it interacts with the user's routine.
