The Porta-Treco is born from the observation of a common everyday gesture found in many interiors: the absence of a defined place for the objects that accompany daily life. These are items that ask for an accessible, nearby place, but that do not always find a clear solution in the space, and it is in this gap that the piece fits.
The piece was conceived as a direct response to this everyday gesture. Compact, functional, and straightforward, it proposes to organise without imposing, to embrace without occupying. More than just a support, it acts as a point of transition between the street and the interior, a first contact with the home that combines use, lightness, and a discreet presence.

Your design consists of three simple cylindrical rings, arranged independently. The choice of rolled steel allowed for precise continuous curvature, while the carved wooden bases introduce material contrast and tactile warmth. Each element was designed to exist alone or together, allowing for multiple compositions along the wall.
The modules are individually fixed by a rear screw, which ensures height flexibility, spacing, and organization. This constructive logic transforms the piece into an open system, capable of adapting to different routines and spatial configurations. Installed one by one in a customizable way, the rings delineate a dynamic functional composition that grows, shifts, or reorganizes over time.
The Storage Box does not seek the spotlight. Its presence is silent, almost graphic, allowing daily use to complete the design. By receiving the objects that come and go, the piece integrates into the household routine as a continuous gesture, a minimal solution that organizes without interrupting, structures without hardening.

Your fixed structure houses pivoting panels (doors attached by a vertical axis) that allow you to partially and controllably alternate what is exposed and what remains sheltered. The decision is neither binary nor definitive: it is up to the user to choose, in daily life, which sections of the shelf open or close, creating mutable compositions. Books, objects, and artworks come together to form scenes that adapt to time, use, and the perspective of those who inhabit.
These panels integrate with the modular system of the shelf, occupying niches of equivalent proportions and respecting the same orthogonal grid that structures the whole piece. This logic allows for adaptations according to the layout and the needs of each environment, maintaining formal coherence even when the composition is reorganised. The result is a continuous composition, where furniture and art share scale, rhythm, and language, dissolving hierarchies between support and content.
Between showing and storing, between fixed and mobile, the shelf of the Almirante Residence maintains a delicate balance: it organizes without constraining, composes without closing.
